    I think that this is part of a frame - a mirror which was inserted into a larger wooden frame maybe. It's in beautiful condition and i have a frame which might look nice around it. i'll have to try and find a victorian image to put inside it. ???

      Very nice, looks like beveled edges as well?

      Yes walksoftly, the edges have a one inch bevel on them.
