Picked this up last week for $10.00, it was very dirty & silverplate was dark and tarnished...I just cleaned it up a bit, (wow, it's heavy) and love it. Hallmarks indicate it's English, I believe Oak and about 100 yrs old. In pretty good shape for it's age. I just love the mix of wood & silver, opposites which work well with eachother... :)
