Coffee canister turned out to be rare humidor

This was a local iowa yard sale item, paid less than a gallon of gas for it, I was gonna use it as a coffee canister till i got home and hubby said it had the Colt Firearms logo on it, did some research on it and turns out it's from the 1920's-1030's and was used as a cigar humidor made from bakelite, and that its a pretty rare find since this material is so delicate.
it has a value 500% higher than i paid so i feel i got a good deal here.
especially since it does'nt have on flaw or crack on it.

the woman said she used it as a candy jar for more than 30 years, its now in my hutch and i think i'll go buy a new coffee jar instead.

it has COLT "THE JAR" and coltrock which i found out is colts name for bakelite
