Vintage Sheffield Stainless Steel Carving Set

Pictured is a 9-piece Sheffield stainless steel carving set. In the picture on the far left are a carving knife, knife sharpener, and carving fork with butterscotch and brown swirl Bakelite handles. Second from left are six serrated steak knives, all of which are stamped with the words Made in Sheffield England and Stainless Steel. Second from right is a picture of the lid of the vinyl-covered box in which the set comes in (the inside of the box is lined with cream satin and the inside of the pull-out drawer containing the steak knives is lined with dark green felt). On the far right is a close-up of the Sheffield mark. The set belonged to my maternal grandmother who received it as a wedding gift in the early 1950s.
