    This is the sweetest rocking chair I have ever seen ..It is small in size but I do not think it is a childs rocker..I believe it is made of maple..the seat has been recovered several times..(due to the number of holes in the bottom) and it is a spring seat..It is possible it is a sewing rocker or a nursing rocker..If anyone has any info please let me know..
