Brass finish with black catalin base and "pediment." Twinface clocks were sold by Montgomery Ward under the "Old Reliable" name. They were likely available through other outlets, as well. Twinfaces are non self-starting and have a lever on the side which must be depressed and released to start the motor. The time was set from below (Reverse Time; http://uv201.com/Clock_Pages/twinface.htm).
