I received this as a gift.
    It was made in Japan.
I do not know when it was made or by whom.
Can anyone provide any information on Linda sewing machines?

I can not tell you who made it or when , but it is a copy of a class 15 Singer sewing machine . They are very nice machines and built every bit as well as a class 15 Singer . There is a member on here that can tell you more about them and I am sure that she will once she sees your post . These machines were made in many different colors and with many different names in Japan and they are all excellence machines .

These machines are very hard to identify. You may find letters and numbers stamped into the underside which can provide a clue - look for J-A- or J-C, with a number.

My brother just bought a Linda Sewing Machine and I can't figure out how to thread it! Did you ever figure out anything about yours?

quiltinrealtor, does your machine look the same as the one above? If it does, search for a HA1 sewing machine manual online

My mother named me after her sewing machine... I've been looking for one of these for years!

I'm sure my brother would sell it. Got it threaded finally and it sews well! And to Bernadette thanks for the info on the manual!
