Some of the stores we remodeled were down town and over 100 years old. Chicago was amazing we were removing old gondolas. Underneath the floor we noticed was still sawdust.. We started finding all kinds of really old tools that had fallen underneath and that's where they stayed..The owner said just toss them.. I later asked if I could have them. Every state we travel to,we always have to check out Antique stores, and thrift stores...That was 30 yrs ago.I still mostly collect costume jewelry ..but when I run across something that just speaks out to me, I bring it home. I hold something old or vintage ,I just look at it and wonder about the stories it could share.. (Read more)
