Curious. Yes, it might be. After tapping it, biting it, weighing it, I'm simply not sure. It's definitely a lighter material than the metal it's attached to.

Ha! I think you're right about it being a toy though. Mine is a lot lighter than that and then there's "Castoy", which I assume is the brand name, albeit probably a different company to the auto toys....
