I have been collecting chairs for about two years. It all started when I restored an Emeco navy chair. I go to a local thrift store and buy chairs that look interesting and are quality. I never have paid more than $10. and have found some that are worth quite a bit more than that. Two Sibast model 8's in teak are my pride and joy. I enjoy learning about the chairs, designers, and manufacturers as I collect. Most that I get need some restoring and I have amassed quite a few so I'll never actually get them all done so I am considering the flee market scene. (Read more)
