  3. Thanks very much Ivan. Much appreciated. Mystery solved.
  4. Thanks Kimmik & Ivan. I figured it was Birmingham, it is more the maker I am trying to work out. The script looks like J.T to me. I had put TJ before (now corrected - I just can't type) Maybe it i...

  7. If you do a search for "COLT PEACEMAKER TWO BLADE KNIFE" with the quotation marks there is a reference to one of these. That's all I could find. It sure is cool, I keep coming back to your pics.
  8. It does look very cool, unfortunately I can't tell you more about it. I wish I had uncovered it recently...:)
  9. Don't know for what, but it would look great on the wall above my workbench...:)
  10. No, I don't think so Karl.
  11. You may be right Uncle Ron, sounds plausible anyway. I'll reword the post...
  12. I can't see anything above Germany. The only markings I see are the following... Germany ...
  13. It's reminiscent of a Circa 1917 New Haven Bingham model but not exact though I would expect it to be of that era maybe.
  14. Thanks very much. I'll clean off the back of the head. Now I just have to work out the country the clothes represent and whether either of the hats (maybe sombreros) actually belong to it. I have o...

  28. I would think so... looks like a KW/KS to me. (Key wind & key set) Only 4 rubies I think there is a 4 pic limit so maybe change one of the last 2 pics for one of the movement.
  29. ANYBODY RECOGNIZE THE TYPE OR STYLE?
  30. I thought of spears but couldn't work out why a set of such similar tips?

  43. A good pic of the movement would help solve that.
  44. I didn't really want to polish it, but I'm pretty sure it is GB as it doesn't fit in with the rest of the engraving. I just can't get it to show up well in a pic. The B is quite worn on the right side.
  45. I just read your remarks Efesgirl, thanks. Just took a look under a magnifier... It says ITALY below PROTECT US. And below the "house" on the other side I think it might be the initials GB
