Finally something of interest! Last week was great but this week hasn't gotten really good until now. Tell me it isn't a mirage. Good ole Remington. Is it orig. or a build-up you're doing? 3rd model New Army? During the C.W., these were much better guns than the Colt & still under-rated in the collector's market but catching up. Don't hold out on me Jono! You left more empty space than there is between here & the moon!

Sweet right? It's a slow project of an original. It's a skeleton at the moment and needs everything from the ground up. I'll post another gun for you. Lol

You've made my day/evening already so take your time. You have the ser.# so you have the date made. C.W.? They made this model for some years after because it was so good. Any idea why it is just a carcass? Ck. Dixie Gun Works as they will have every part for this model. Only complaint I've had with them is that they sent me a piece of maple stock blank that was too good for my purpose. Turner Kirkland was a distant cousin of mine & knew him from back in the 50's. Damned, I wish I had that to restore!!!!!!!

Rain, rain & rain and thinking if I had it & some parts, I could be in the shop happily restoring instead of wasting time looking at this screen & dreaming. No excuse for putting off making a new mailbox, so a bientot.

Lol. I have no parts and no address for you my friend. Sorry.

No problem. Just send to Lucas/Shake & Bake in St. Maarten. I still get mail sent to an address I moved from 7 yrs. ago & didn't leave a forwarding address! I'm going to have to talk to that postman. Some of that mail I don't want!
