Came from an estate sale (third hand), unknown usage, possibly candy or something not too difficult to cut. Lever works the wood block pusher into the cutting edge. Item cut is placed into and through the hole in bottom. Would like to know the intended usage for this very old gillotine type cutter. Approx 14" long by 4" wide, cutting area about one inch wide. Appreciate any info.
