Did you ever receive any info on the pottery vessel that you questioned as Native American? I have a very similar one. Same colors, same stripes, different design. It also has a cup that fits over the tope with same stripes on it. I was told by someone who is an certified Native American pottery appraiser, that she thought it was from Mexico or somewhere else in S. America.

I think this vase may be Mexican Tonala pottery, but not sure how old??
