This was the book that my father used to learn Aircraft Maintenance when he hired on at Curtiss Wright in 1942 in Columbus Ohio. All of the printing looks like typewriter and all diagrams have lettering by a draftsman...

Since it's your Fathers it probably means a lot to you! Just like my sign means a lot to me... because it was my Fathers and he just passed away. and BTW, it IS an unsolved mystery... if you don't know how much it's worth... right? let me know, if I'm wrong. nice book!
Wanting to know an items worth is not grounds (in my mind) to call it an 'unsolved mystery' mine is not a mystery because I know WHAT it is, the value is not important to me as I can find that else where (E-Bay for example). Personally I call an unsolved mystery something that one cannot identify or does not have any information about...............But that's just me. You can please yourself !
