    i love love love the way this looks
    i was able to purchase 2 larger flower pots from the same person i bought the other things from
    this one is my favorite
    i dont know if it is old or not but i love it?

      Hi eve14 ,It may not be a flower pot !!
      Some oriental pots are flower pots but the ones like this with the pattern inside sometimes were for goldfish !!

      The base mark should be turned 45º left..

      well i am getting old, i did, not knew this still existed in this form , this used to be Hong Kong porcelain marking , but after japanese invasion of China in 1936 i thought it was vanished

      what it revived apparantly

      it reads Yong Sheng CAi Ci Chang Meaning Yongsheng ( eternal victory)

      it is a generation porcelain canton mandarin scene made around and it is made in hongkong or macao it is not that old, the best case scenario is late republic , but likely much later

      this is someting like 80 ties skinny thin marks are always new
