24" tall. Converted to electric. Hand painted. Center is brass that lifts out. Knob has made in US of America. Twist knob on base to turn it on. Would like to know the maker and when it was made.

The movie GWTW was based during the civil war 1861-65. These "Banquet" lamps were made late 1880's till early 1900's. In the movie, similar lamps were shown so people continued to name them Gone With The Wind lamps. Companies like Bradley & Hubbard, Consolidated Glass, Fostoria and many other US & European companies made these lamps. There should be some info. on the thumbwheel. RER(BOB)
