These dishes were my mom's they are from the 1970's and were sold as being unbreakable. Just found these down the cellar and cleaned them up. She also had a green set, that I haven't found yet, but when I do I will show them

      Love these!
I know the French with Arcorac, Duralex and Luminarc did a fair bit of this stuff. Do they have a name impressed on the back?

Yes, they are engraved "Vereco" and then "France" on the opposite side. But I am remembering that my mom went to home parties, you know like Tupperware parties and bought these, along with a green set, She bought it in pieces. So I am trying to remember what they called it, I know it had a specific name, but I can't for the life me remember. Maybe wheatonware, I don't know. I wish someone could jog my memory for me.

Vereco are another French one! Vereco still make tempered glass.
I love this particular shape - it was distributed by Wheaton but not made by them.
