    Been in the family for about 50 years believe it was a gift to an aunt from a prominent musician living in Cheshire. About 15 inches high, pottery with bronze effect and gilt. You'll see from the maker's mark (fabrique en Autrione) that it's probably Austrian.

      Very nice! Looks really like bronze.
      It says "fabriqué en AUTRICHE", french for "made in Austria", so it is related to French importation!

      I think you'll find it is Goldscheider ..... Fabriqué en Autriche.
