This is my favourite vase. It reminds me of the Daleks from Doctor Who but it doesn't make me want to hide behind the sofa; it makes me want to look at it all day.
I've been told it may be Fenton glass but I'm not really sure what I'm looking for in terms of markings or markers. I bought it with some vintage Japanese glass so I guessed it was also from Japan. Any ideas?
It's certainly a beauty I will never exterminate!

Definitely Japanese but I have never found out which companies made them.
There are a number of styles and colours but this colour is unusual!

definitely not Fenton. check the reference links (noting as Star and or Lefton Japan) at 20thcentury on the "Dalek" vases they have as Japanese:

Thanks Racer and TallCakes. I'll keep investigating but I don't really mind who made it. I love it.
