Silver plate? serving spoon or maybe cake cutter type thing. It is ornate with a ship. Measures about 9 3/4" long and has a flat edge. Marked MADE IN JAPAN on the back.

Believe this is referred to as a "crumb catcher" or part of a "silent butler" - here is a similar set;

Crumb catcher usually had a brush with it agh is right :)
It's a scrapper for a crumb tray.
I have the other piece( the tray)
