I looked at a few catalogs a while back and didn't see the G mint in them for this coin.
Can anyone enlighten me on it?

Blow it up, ignore the fuz (I had it wrapped in paper towel to keep it from getting scratched in transport) and enjoy the details.

I got it for less than 1 US quarter. Did I do well?

To my collection I basically add any German coin before WW2 ends. This is a pleasing example for its condition. (My ancestors were German.)

    Merry Christmas, friends.

Is it? See, I couldn't find anything on it in the catalogs I looked at. Do you know how many were minted, and where the G mint was located? Any specific sites you'd recommend me to go to?
      Thanks for the comment.

      Merry Christmas.
