This bowl is very lightweight and delicate - unfortunately a bit of the fuschia and gold have worn off over the years, but it is in overall good condition. I can tell the gold decoration was probably continued into the center of the bowl at one point. I have been unsure about the orgin of this piece...I initially thought it could be Austrian upon initial searching (that might have been way off base, im still learning!) until I picked up a Tressemann and Vogt Haviland Limoges dish that had the same circular stamp on the back...any thoughts? Thank you in advance for any feedback you may have :)

I saw the exact plate a few weeks ago at an antique store, but passed it up because the fuchsia is so incredibly intense.

My mom claims that the 'circular stamp,' as you call it, is from when the plate was being made. Usually seen on pieces a person paints herself at a shop.
