I found this item at a yard sale today and brought it home. It it about 41 inches tall at top of mirror area and 32 inches wide. It looks German or English with nail head trim, tear drop, handles and carved faces. I am very curious if anyone can help me identify this piece of awesome furniture.

Can't help you but it's eerily beautiful...the faces must have some meaning. Bob

Are the joints dovetailed? What a great piece of furniture.

To Efesgirl - Yes, the joints are all dovetailed.

Looks to be early 20th century. What joints are dovetailed on this-- aren't those swinging doors on the front?

I'd like to see a picture of the "dovetail".
