    These small swords were acquired by my dad during WWII, but I know nothing about them. If anyone out there can give me any information about these swords I sure would appreciate it. Thks

      Many of these swords were officer swords that were claimed from captured or deceased Japanese soldiers. We have one here that my dad acquired in a unit ballot - all of the items collected by them in PNG in WWII were balloted to the unit soldiers. Like a lucky dip I guess.
      I'm sure Chris or one of our other militaria people will be able to tell you more about them.
