I believe this is a tip tray. I am well aware that it is controversial because of the swastikas. It was found in an estate. I would like to know some history and value. Are these items even sellable due to the negativity?

Tip trays are very collectible. I've tried to get a couple but have always been outbid.
ravage60 - Really? I would sell this one but have not researched the prices as yet. I didn't know if eBay would allow me to list it due to the swastikas.
You do have to remember I'm a cheapskate. They are not worth a lot but because of the size they can be very collectible for those with space considerations.
It all depends on what's on the tray, I've seen them go for 2 bucks to over 100. The right buyer and content will determine which end yours falls on.
Would love to know what the entertainment was for 10 cents!!! I think it is a great tray....and certainly don't worry about the swastika symbols....I have bought early 1900s jewellery with a good luck swastika on it from ebay.....
