    I picked up several others.

    No. 1 is Chinese. The others are Japanese. Pre-WW1? Or did they not write on the back, period, in Japanese postcards?

    Post 2 shows others, including one that is hand-painted!!

      I think even the first is Japanese, and possibly a photo from the 2nd Sino-Japanese war (around 1940). Battles were fought in Ichang (Yichang) area.
