    1940's singer sewing machine cabinet, Queen Anne model of mahogany.
    As can be seen from the pictures, it appears to have been a table used for paint cans rather than for sewing. The wood is mahogany.

    What was done: The cabinet was stripped, stained and finished. It now holds our 1937 Singer machine which my wife and I both use to sew on.

      You forgot the little knob for the faux drawer! Nice!

      If you look closely the knob is there and the drawer actually opens so you can store spools of thread

      I have the exact same table and an excited to see such a great result. Would you please be willing to share what brand of stripper, stain color, and final shellac you used here?
