What a nice find this was today, a beautiful crystalline glazed vase, by Jon Price, owner of Jon Price Pottery, in southern California. Jon is a 3rd generation potter, and has been working with crystalline glazing since 1989.
Master Potter artist, Jon Price is Co-Author of The Art of Crystalline Glazing: Basic Techniques. The porcelain vase is glazed with crystalline colors of brown, orange, yellow, and gold. It's 9"high, 2 1/8"across the top, 5" at the widest point, and a base that's 2 1/8" across, and marked, Jon Price A-1178.
