I am trying to find out what these are used for. my brother saved these items and he has passed so I have no way of knowing what they are

Look like drain cleaning tools to me. For unblocking sewer lines, cutting out roots etc. Would attach onto flexible steel drain rods.
Yes these are for a power auger (commercial grade) like ROTO Rooter) spade bits, cutters and a retriever. Not old but would clean lines from 1 1/4" up to 4". They look old because of the rust. They are constantly in sewer drain pipes so you seldom see them clean unless they are new. I keep a homeowner one because I have tree root problems now and then.
