Found these photos in a box at a yard sale today. Is the USAF officer seated at his desk identifiable? Also, is the photo identified as "Queen Mother" actually of a queen? Any help with identifying these photos is appreciated.

The Officer at his desk looks familiar and should be identifiable, I'll look around.

Thanks for the help. He definitely is wearing an air force patch on his sleeve and he's a 3 star general.

I'm pretty sure its General Jimmy Doolittle actually: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/c/c8/JimmyDoolittleAutographed.jpg/220px-JimmyDoolittleAutographed.jpg. Still no luck with the Queen though

The current Queen Elizabeth II was too young at that time Queen Mother Mary most likely so I think it's labeled correct assumeing it was taken after 1952.
Then Queen Mary 1950 on left (To be Queen Mother in 1952)

Great research! The photo is definitely similar in appearance. I'm not 100% sure but I think that's the closest I'll get!
