Coca-Cola Wooden Paintings???

There is a guy who has these 2 paintings. He says they are solid wood. I already asked if it was cardboard mounted to wood but he said it was painted on wood. From what I can tell the first one is the 1939 springboard tray picture and the other is the lady in red. I just don't know is this a fantasy piece or something really really cool that I should jump on. I can tell the springboard one has been cut down a little. It's about an hour away from me so I don't want to waste time and gas and find it's not worth anything.
