My friend gave me this on my bday a few years back he said he got it at a second hand store , I don't know much about it , it's solid and heavy green with specs of black running through the stone carved it's a beautiful piece , a girlfriend suggested it may be a fertility good or something but I don't think so because no private parts on this piece
Looks like green soapstone....a lot of Eskimo/Inuit carving was done with soapstone. This particular figurine is not in the style done by the Inuit. RER
