Unknown bike brand. This bike has been at my home for years, I originally purchased it at a garage sale when my boys were little. It features a banana seat and hard rubber tires. The tire in the front is smaller than the back. It's a 20" bike with racked handlebars. The name tag is gone but I located the model #512.87521. I was told this may be a Ross Apollo or Murray but I haven't been able to locate a bike like this anywhere.

The model number you posted appears to be a Sears Model Number. Go to the Sears online Parts Store and enter it. Then you will need to search out who made bikes for Sears around this time. I think it was Murray!

I had a Sears "Spyder" bike in the 60's. It looked different than this model though.

The style is still around. We see some "yachties" riding similar around the lagoon area. Never seen 1 try to climb a mountain with one.

      Hedstrom?

Most bicycles are factory stamped on the frame, below the sprocket.

Sheluvsjewelry, Thank you for your response. I found the model number under the sprocket but the rest of the info is gone.

Dizzydave, Hedstom is what I was thinking, but I can't find one that looks like this.

It would have had a sticker on front, this is a Hedstom bike.

Thank you Dizzydave! That looks just like the one I have!
