Add another telephone to my collection. This 1900's oak Stromberg-Carlson desk vanity is one of the more ornate of the telephone vanities manufactured. Telephone vanities like this one was used in hotel lobbies, telephone booths and even private homes.

AR8Jason, I saw the show and I know the collector. His Telephone collection and business has been up for sale about two years. The price tag for the collection and business is in one to two million range. The large switchboards are hard to sell, because weight and size.
I inherited a vanity desk phone like the one shown. Just wondering what the value might be?
Basil Addington, The value depends on condition of your vanity. If all the molding is in place and there is good pin striping on the transmitter arm and base.
The value would be between $2000.00 to 3000.00.
