This very unique teapot and teacup came from a Chinese estate sale. I'm not sure how old it is, but all the items in the house had been gathering dust for 40 years before they were sold off, so at the very least it's that age.

A bit more info and a number of photos here on my blog: http://www.vintageasian.com/81-chinese-teapot-and-teacup-2/

I'll be wary with porcelain coming from "Thai" origins, they do fake quite a bit back home. When you say bought it at a Chinese estate sale and gathering dust for years, how does one determine if it was indeed the case? Stories can be easily made up, so how do you verify that August? Did the Thai guy provide a letter of authenticity or solid document to prove its origin? *Curious*
