    I am looking for help in dating this clearly marked Heddon lure. I am wondering when they used this kind of hardware to attach the hooks. All I have seen are the little, round cups. Any help would be appreciated.
    I discovered this and some other lures in an old box, in the shed. One of them I just put up here, looking for some id help. Take a look, maybe? Thanks

      If it`s 3" long it is possibly an SOS 140 like this one;

      Thanks, Rob. I believe that you are correct, though mine has glass eyes and is older, I think. I found a site where they showed this hardware and it was used from the mid 1930s thru the war years....So i guess that i have my answer. Thanks for helping...
