    Found this little guy a while back at Goodwill and I think he might be Chinese but I am not certain I know he's not old but he's nicely made and very pleasing to look at not to mention I could use an extra guardianship and protection, so that's always a bonus haha! Anyway if anyone has a clue of the the origins of this piece please share, thank you so much!

      I think this is one of a pair of guardian fu lions (shishi or komainu). You have the shisha with a sphere. I believe it's Japanese BUT Chinese have very similar guardian figures. Really not sure--maybe this info will help you with your research though.

      a stand alone sishi breaks the Feng SHUI , if you break the FENG SHUI it loses its purpose ( , hapiness and protection function ) because you get un unbalenced CHI see also the principle of ADEM
