A rare Clear Glass purchase. I went back for it as it's in perfect condition. I've never before noticed a big, heavy bowl (11") with such a small base (2 1/2"). It has a very nice flared profile. The Glass is fully 3/8" thick at the sides. I'm hoping for some help with the I.D.

I.D. made by TallCakes. It is a McKee Glass - Fentec Pattern - Discontinued around 1910

    Thanks.

This mystery ended exactly as I thought it might. I.D. made by TallCakes. It is a McKee Glass - Fentec Pattern - Discontinued around 1910 - If anyone has some McKee literature on the Fentec pattern, please share the name and type of the bowl, as they are the final pieces of the puzzle. Thank you TallCakes.

Although not an official classification, because I haven't seen any documentation, this bowl seems to be a small punch bowl. Searching for old McKee Glass ads and catalog pages.

not many catalogs available online but this G23 catalog does have a page of Fentec; page 15 shows many pieces and an extensive list but not this specific scalloped bowl.
