Gay Fad (Fran Taylor) Coffee Mugs

Pair of milk glass handled coffee mugs, Tiki (Geometric) design. 5" tall X 3 1/8" across at top. Extremely Fine Condition. Probably from 1950's or 1960's.

Gay Fad Studios was managed by Detroit painter and designer Fran Taylor (1915-1996). It operated in Lancaster, Ohio from 1945 to 1963. It had over 900 patterns in its line and supplied designs for such major glass manufacturers as Hazel Atlas, Anchor Hocking, Libbey and Federal.
