A recently purchased Sherman set in AB.
It is so hard to photograph. The colours are really quite lilac to deep purple in the light with flashes of blue and green which photos just do not show.
The same design as another one I posted a few weeks ago that was in pink.
The brooch is signed but the matching earrings are not which I am told is quite common.

Absolutely gorgeous Sherman set! I love that romantic brooch, such a wonderful feathery design, it's one of Sherman's loveliest. I understand well about AB photography it's always challenging, and am sure the set dazzles even more in person
This Sherman brooch makes me think of Royalty. It is very Elegant and the special central stone is held in by those wonderful prongs which are a design element in themselves. I am thinking this colour is “Starlight” based on your photo. A beautiful grey, blue, purple colour. One of my favourites for sure.

I know what you mean about these being difficult to photograph! The colours are so subtle and don't always photograph well, but in person -- va va voom. Beautiful colours, and this heart is one of my favourite designs. Just a lovely set.

Gorgeous shape, one of the first things I recognize when I first see a potential Sherman piece and this one has it. AB stones can be tricky but then you see all the colours it can give you !~
