1967 Revell Hi-Bank Slot Car Track

I've been meaning to show this one for awhile. It's been packed up for a long time. This is a 1967 Revell Hi-Bank Slot Car Track that has 30 feet of track. As you can see the track and the one remaining car are not in good shape. My brother's and sister played this a lot.

The red car would've been a 1967 Pontiac Firebird and the gold car is a 1967 Mercury Cougar. The high bank section you see is 11" wide, the straight away is 7" wide and the cars are 5 1/2" x 2". You can see the bottom of the car has a pivot slot that sits in the track groove and has brush connectors on each side that powers the motor. The motor powers the rear wheels which are all rubber. This combo makes for some cool sideways action and even burn outs with a little help. You can see there are a couple hourglass track sections which makes for exciting crashes. These cars were pretty big and fast and they could fly off the track over that tiny guard rail. Now you know why the remaining car looks like it does.

**I'll provide a link to a picture of the whole set and a quick video I found demonstrating the cars.**

    REVELL
In the mid 1940s, in Venice/California the founder of Revell Inc. Lewis H. Glaser had the idea to build a true-to-scale car out of several plastic parts himself. That was the birth of plastic model kits.

I remember tiny bits of the brush connector getting stuck in my fingers.
