Kodak Brownie Cameras
Recently I showed my Kodak Brownie Six-20 Special. Well..I just bought a huge lot of cameras. The majority are Kodak Brownie cameras. It was fun to go through and learn about them.
There's some other oddball stuff too. The last picture you can see a few cameras in the front row and two steel projectors on the left. I'll show those in upcoming posts. There was also 3 large leather cases..one was for a 1900-1901 folding camera and a 1914 camera.

Terrific assortment of cameras & projectors, really like the one with the huge flash in last photo - it would've been great to surprise a movie star, pop pop :)

It's always fun to find lots of Kodak cameras. The deco Kodaks are special.
Just to keep history correct, as an FYI, the referenced Met Museum URL with the article by Mia Fineman does not correctly cite the "first" Kodak. The original Kodak roll film camera of 1888 was simply called "The Kodak." The "No.1 Kodak" followed in 1889. FWIW, I have all Kodak consumer catalogues from 1888 to 1941.
