Persian trench art shell

75 mm German shell with a myriad of Persian inspired motifs. Engraved decorations include deer, leopard, peacock and a palm tree. All done with the same Persian stylization found on early Persian rugs.

Hard to find these from Persia.

Shell is 1906 base stamped.
