This 2 1-2" dragonfly brooch has blue and light green sequin-type rhinestones with pave white stone wing accents and two jade green cabochon eyes, on bright goldtone. By Suzanne Bjontegard from the 1980s

Patricia you are so right, Bjontegard used very original sequin-like stones on all her animal jewelry that really sparkle in the light, I'm lucky to have a few. And true, the real dragonflies have those iridescent wings that show up in sunlight & we see alot of them here in summer, I even have them on a garden flag! Thank you for your wonderful comment
