This 3"W brooch has five birds sitting on a curved branch. Each bird has a different color pave rhinestone body, and each has a diff color oval stone breast. The branch is pave white rhinestones with green accent leaves, and in an antiqued goldtone setting. By Heidi Daus, who began her jewelry co in Montclair New Jersey in 1981

Large brooches are a fave of mine and this one does not disappoint! The big stones are beautiful and the birds are so sweet! It's a lovely spring brooch!

That's a really cool brooch! I must say their deep rich colours really speak of autumn actually but the fact they're birds on a branch reminds me of chicks- you see them all lined up on a garden wall in spring waiting for food and their parents- makes me laugh!
These little birds remind me of that, I must say, I look at these and I immediately think spring chicks!

DejaVu, we are having a semi-warm early Spring and birds are a-singing in the trees, so I guess this was on my mind when I saw these pretty birdies
Phil they are totally like a line of chubby chickadees! Do you know the chickadee has always been one of my fave wild birds, not only for their beautiful two note call, but their behavior at the feeders I used to have - it's like they drop vertically from the sky onto the feeder perch, they quickly grab a seed or two, then disappear as quickly as they came. They're mysterious but adorable
