My husband grandma told me these were her first set of dishes when she first got married. She is 91 yrs old now. I should probably ask her what kind of drinks you use these for, and who made them etc...

Any ideas?

they look to be sherbets; can't say for sure without measurements. The pattern is 'Boopie' made by Anchor Hocking Glass. One give away that it is not 'Candlewick' is the safety edge on the rim.

Jason, Imperial Glass made the Candlewick patten for many year and numerous varied pieces from the mid 1930s thru the mid 1980s. Boopie was made in the 1950s; Anchor Hocking's 'Burple' pattern is another that is often mistaken for 'Candlewick'.

Anchor Hocking called this stemware pattern "Berwick" It was introduced in the 1950s, but was made for many years after, into the 1970s and maybe even after. It is a copy of the classic, and very popular Candlewick by Imperial. As TC says, Candlewick stems will not have that safety edge. Pieces of Candlewick are much higher quality, too.

I have been reading all of these comments... But I haven't nothing to add. I have been ill with the flu, not much of a voice either, so can't even talk to my husband grandma to ask for more details about these... she might just know more about them. But you guys have me all excite it! I hope some of you have notice some of the other pictures I have upload it.

I have more glasses and stuff... but I uploaded sooo many images that I felt kinda nerdy and embarrassed and decided lets wait and see first.

Some of the other stuff might not be anything special at all, I just like knowing what am working on when am putting my pieces together for my arts and crafts. Thank you all for keeping this threat going, I am learning so much. :)
