Continued from first post....the paper is doubled (see pics) and feels like rice paper, which just goes to show my complete lack of knowledge here! The pictures included are fantastic. The inside book itself is strung together between the two silk cloth-backed paper covers. I googled this and found the exact same book on Amazon and they are asking 1200.00 for it. Any ideas on whether that is a fair price for this or not? Sounds really high to me, but this is not really my thing...the book was just so pretty I took a chance! I included the link to their listing below. I'm not sure where else to go to get a value on this, can someone help me out?

Anybody have ideas on where I can take this/reach out to for info on the book?
Have you tried a chinese consulate? Local universities, libraries or art museums? If they can't help you directly they may point you in the right direction.
Yep, I think it is the same book and sent an email about a week ago. Maybe I should do it the old fashioned way and pick up the phone! My local library had no info for me but I did find where UNL has the book in their library too...didn't even think to contact them! Thanks for the suggestions!
