Toys1658 of 1935Tin toy friction cars found in dime stores but made in Japan...friction powered.Motorific cars were battery powered fun in the 60's.

The detail right down to the restroom was great on this early 50's service station. I added period renwal and other inexpnsive cars that would have come with the set. There's a man next to a floor jack and the colors really make it stand out.

    I have memories of sneeking peeks of my dad trying to assemble one of these for me on Christmas Eve. I love the marx litho toys.
