This is a wonderful antique banjo clock but I don't know how old it is or the the history. If anyone could help me out. It has a wonderful painting on the glass and an eagle on top. Any info would be appreciated.

Hi,
It looks like you may have a version of Sessions' "Halifax" from circa 1930. The Halifax measures 27" by 91/4" with a 6" dial. The "Halifax" has solid brass brackets, polished brass sash with convex glass. An eight-day pendulum movement and was finished in Mahogany, Ivory or Green. It featured a lacquer finish. Its original list price was $22.88 and it was most recently appraised by Ly at $250 in 2002. Does that sound like your clock? If not, what are its dimensions? Hope this helps.
